Synopsis
A short film focusing on three generations of a family at Christmas. A cautionary parable about the consequences of concealing our pasts and the ramifications that has on future generations.
About The Production
I have a great deal of passion for this ambitious project (I don't embark on a film unless I do - but sadly most of the time that passion outweighs the means), which is why I need your help!
The money raised will go towards the 16mm film stock, camera/sound equipment, actors/crew fees (feeding them too!), location fees and all the other little things that will inevitably crop up.
Any funds left over will go towards the Post-Production process and submission fees to film festivals. With each short film I have made in the past I have aimed for all the Oscar qualifying festivals first. Although it's never certain which festivals will accept the film, I will be diligent in the submission process.
With your help we can realise this story with the production values I think it deserves/requires. It's also an opportunity to be a part of something fun and creative (anybody who donates is very welcome to come and join us as we film). So please check out the unique incentives for your very kind donations. Alternatively if you are strapped for cash at the moment (who isn't) and can't donate, then please spread the word about this project to your network of friends and family, that would be a great help too.
Without your funds the production will still go ahead, it just won't have the professional polish I'm looking to achieve. But with your kind donations it could be so much more. I always strive to raise my game with every new project I take on, so this time I'll be aiming for the best short film Oscar!
